If you could start all over or when you have another baby, what would you do differently when it comes to supplementing?

I would hope for a baby who latches better ... but I know that's not something I have control over!

I would probably not stress as much as I did when I had to supplement DD... I had it in my head that formula was poison (not literally) but know I feel good knowing that she gets nutrients from both bm and formula.

I wouldn't do anything different. I'm doing/did what I see as best for them.

I agree with Nat81. I had it in my head that formula was poison as well, and Kallista and I would get so frustrated with the breast and I'd just keep on and keep on, and finally when I gave in and gave her the bottle we both felt so relieved and were much happier. So, I would definitely not feel as guilty supplementing the next one because I realized that it's not WHAT they eat, but the fact that they are getting fed that's important!!! And seeing the way my lil girl is growing, she is DEFINITELY getting what she needs!!!!!

Definitley the latching...I'd get plastic surgery on my inverted nipples (that I never knew I had )

I'd also try to get more help. The lactation lady wasn't too cool with it, and with no family around me or anyone to help I've pretty much been winging it.
