I am so glad this subforum is here now! What a great idea! My biggest problem area is my stomach and I really need some advice or ideas for good ab workouts that are better than basic crunches. I find that crunches are too tedious and don't seem to do any good. Does anyone have ideas?

Lay flat on your back and sit up with your arms straight out in front of your like your pulling on a rope to sit up. Then lay back down and do the same thing only this time pull off to your right and then back down and then to the left. Do 15 reps of these and trust me you will feel it

Plank work is great. I also have a stability ball which is a big blow up ball looks like a beach ball almost and you do ab work on the ball. A great DVD that has a lot of variety is Cathe Friedrich's Ab Circuit. Here is a link for the DVD Ab Circuits It has a great stability ball segment on it. Good Luck. Abs are so hard to get firm.

Thanks ladies!!! Both of those suggestions sound great! I totally agree that abs are the hardest thing to get toned. I can generally do any other exercise with good results but the abs are very stubborn.
