I totally agree that there is something special about Goldens. They have the most warm personalities and somehow know when to make you laugh and when to comfort you. I really want another one, so badly. Thank you for your kind words about Casey. I know you would've loved him!

How is everyone's weekend going? Mine, as you know, has been crappy. I didn't know how I would be affected by the due date. It was a tough day, for sure. Having you all to turn to definitely makes it easier though.

There really hasn't been any working out at all this weekend. I hardly ate anything yesterday because I was so down, but what I did eat was healthy.

Ok my weekend was not good in any way, but today is the start of a new work-week so I am determined it will be better I have a nasty sinus infection (starting meds today) so I will not work out today. Should be back to working out tomorrow after a healthy dose of steriods today. I have my first RE appt today and I am stressed - so I don't know how healthy I will eat today

Katie - did you test yesterday?

Good Luck at your doctor's appointment Joanna. Sorry your not feeling well.

No workout for me this morning but I'm going to try to do 30 minutes of kickboxing when I get home. hopefully I'll have some motivation. Didn't do much this weekend. Cleaned the house on Saturday which was my only exercise this weekend. I had some rice krispies for breakfast this morning and they were so good.

Sarah your chart is looking great. Are you going to test soon or wait for AF to be late?

Katie how are you doing? did you have fun hunting on Saturday?

I have been sooooo busy! My car had something wrong with the front end so I spent a few hours at the dealership getting it diagnosed. Luckily the front end stuff was covered under warranty. BUT...they told me I need new brakes and new tires and quoted me at $1600!!! ***??? I said no way to that!! I am really upset that I've only been driving that car for 2 years and stuff is already going wrong with it. Today I picked up my car and headed straight for the Subaru dealership. A friend of ours is a dealer there so he and I spent the afternoon test driving and figuring out options. It's not easy for me since I currently don't have a job, but he's doing what he can to help get me in a decent car. I found a couple I liked. I am going to probably go back there tomorrow to test drive some more. I really love my Jeep, but I need something more reliable. My last car was a Subaru and it went 10 years before needing any work. At any rate, I am exhausted!! I'm going to get into sweats and curl up in bed in a little while.

I barely ate anything yesterday and today...too busy and stressed. I got a tiny bit of exercise playing fetch with Pepper this evening...although she definitely got more! LOL!!

I checked the tracking number for my cheap HPT's and they arrived at the post office so I'll pick them up tomorrow. The earliest I'll test is Thursday but I might just go ahead and wait until Friday. I really have not had any urge to test at all. It's weird!

Katie, did you test?
Joanna, how did your appointment go?
Melissa, did you get your kickboxing workout done? That sounds like a ton of fun!! How's the morning sickness?

Hey ladies! Sorry I've been MIA. AF is here and horrible. Took my last dosage of Femara last night. So now it's another waiting game for this cycle. I haven't felt motivated at all lately... lol. How are you ladies? Sarah hows everything going? Melissa how is the morning sickness? Joanna how are you doing?

Good Morning ladies. I'm exhausted today. Jake our little ****zu (JM always thinks this is a bad word..lol) woke us up at 3:00 a.m. I think he was hungry because after we gave him some food he ate and then went back to bed. Although I couldn't go back to sleep.

Sarah I'm sorry that you are having trouble with car. Car Trouble sucks. Hopefully your friend can get you a car that is reliable and that you can afford.

Katie I'm so sorry that AF has been so terrible. Hopefully the femara will work for you this month.

Joanna how did you do in your 5K run. I'm sure you did great.

I did get my kickboxing workout in on Monday. It was alot of fun. It had been awhile since I had done any kickboxing. Yesterday I did about 20 minutes of pilates after work. Just wasn't very motivated. I am still sick off and on. I mainly get sick after dinner in the evenings and have lost my dinner many nights. It does seem to be letting up a bit though. I have my NT Scan on Monday and I think after that I may be able to breathe a little bit.

Hope you guys have great Wednesday. It's pouring the rain here which always make me really lazy.

Hey girls! My appt went well. I actually really like the Dr and he was much more encouraging than I expected with DH's SA results. He wants to try a medicated (Clomid/trigger) IUI next cycle. I was really excited until I got a huge temp drop this morning and now feel pretty deflated. I hate that I react like this every single cycle.

Sarah - everybody I know who drives a Jeep constantly has problems with them. That must be so frustrating! I am really impressed with your patience with testing this cycle. You and Katie both. I am 99% sure I am out this cycle and I still had to talk myself out of testing this morning

Melissa - the 5K was a little bit of a bust. There were 22,000 people in the "race" the majority of whom wanted to walk slowly in huge groups. There was no way to break out of the crowd enough to actually run. A few of us tried to run around the groups on the sidewalk but the police kept making us stop, so I finally gave up and walked the course. I think I am going to sign up for a smaller event next month.

Katie - I'm sorry AF is giving you a hard time. Are you planning on doing anything different next cycle? Did you make an appt with the RE or are you going to wait another cycle? Does your insurance not even cover a RE appt or just the fertility treatments? Mine covers the initial appt but nothing related to IUI or IVF.

Hi ladies! Well, it's been a busy and exhausting week. I finally got my Subaru yesterday and I'm really happy I decided to get it. Joanna, I'm not surprised that people have so many problems with them. It's too bad too because I really did like my Jeep. Oh well...lesson learned! I'm a Subaru girl!

My week has been too busy to even think about working out. On the flip side, I've also been too busy and stressed to eat a lot so my calorie intake has been a lot less than usual. I'm not starving myself by all means...just eating less. I would weigh myself, but the battery on my scale is dead and I keep forgetting to replace it.

AF showed today. I wasn't surprised and expected her since my temp dropped yesterday and I had cramping last night. I have my consultation with my doctor this morning. I think I'm going to see if she'll put me on Femara to try and get my right ovary to be more dominant. I'd rather try that first before I travel 3 hours to the specialists.

How is everyone doing? I feel so out of touch!!

Sarah I'm so glad that you got a new car. My mother in law has a subaru and she loves it. I'm sorry that AF showed up. I think the femara sounds like a great idea. I know there are several girls on PAL that got pregnant on femara. Maybe that will be all you need to get your BFP. I still pray for you guys every day.

I haven't been that great on working out this week. Been lazy and tired..lol.

We are planning on going to a haloween party at the zoo tomorrow so that should be alot of fun. Still really nervous about my NT Scan on Monday. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

i hope everyone has a wonderfu weekend.

I've been bad about working out too Melissa...don't feel bad! It's a lazy kind of week! Joanna, I am so sorry the 5K was such a disappointment! It sounds really frustrating! That is a LOT of people so I'm not surprised that it was so congested.

Today I'm not going to worry about working out at all. Between the stress of the car issues, my less than good doctor's appointment, and now today being a year since I lost Casey, I am going to try to relax and pamper myself today. I will try to eat healthy though.

Melissa, that Halloween party sounds fun!!! I'll be thinking about you on Monday! I'm sure everything will be fine! Does your DH get to go with you?

Joanna, I'm so glad your appointment went well! It sounds like you've got a great plan of action!!!

Sarah I've been thinking about all day today and hoping that you were doing okay. I know how hard days like today are. I hope that your BF gave you some good loving today. I know it will help.

We had fun at Boo at the Zoo, although there was a ton of people there. I couldn't believe all the people. And DS wouldn't even put on his Halloween Costume, so I put a baseball hat on him and let him be a baseball player..lol.

DH is going with me on Monday and I'm thankful for that. don't really want to go by myself. I am hoping that if Monday goes good, i can finally breathe and enjoy this preg a little bit.

Sarah have you scheduled your appointment with the specialists yet? I am praying that they will have the answer for you.

Hopefully next week we can all get back on the workout train and get in some good workouts.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Melissa, you are so sweet! Thank you! I know you totally understand how it feels, especially with the love of a Golden. I cried off and on and tried to focus my thoughts of Casey on the healthy and goofy times, rather than how he declined at the end. I'm going to make a donation in his memory...but I'm having a hard time deciding whether to donate to the MSPCA where I adopted him, the Canine Cancer Foundation, or Bone Cancer Dogs. I wish I could donate to all of them but times are so hard. I guess I could do a $10 donation to each place and then donate more when things turn around. I also thought a lot about Brinkley yesterday and how wonderful it is that he is beating Cancer!

I'm sure your appointment will go great and I'm so glad that your DH can go with you! What time is it? Is it early? I'll be watching and waiting for an update!! How is the morning sickness?

My doctor's office said they are going to call me to set up an appointment. BUT...sometimes they get a little forgetful so if I don't hear from them tomorrow, then I will call and try to set something up. I'm hoping they'll be able to see me Friday afternoon because my BF, his DD, and I are headed down to Salem, MA for the weekend and the specialists would be on the way. Fingers crossed.

My AF is HORRIBLE this time! It has been so heavy (with lots of clots), I have to wear pads which I never do. But honestly, it's so bad that it's a waste if I use tampons. Sorry for TMI! I also had cramps CD 1 & CD 2 and usually it's only on CD 1. I'm wondering if it's extra heavy because of the HSG. I'm not liking it! I'm on CD 3 now and usually it's starting to die down, but not this time. It's really similar to my m/c. If my temps hadn't dropped so dramatically, I would've thought I had a chemical. Or maybe temps do that? I have no idea. If it was a chemical, I'm glad I never tested!

I didn't work out yesterday, but I did eat pretty well. I had my eggs for breakfast, then was bad and had corn dogs for lunch, but then I redeemed myself with a big salad for dinner. I haven't decided what to do today, but I am planning on making a pot roast in the crock pot.

How has everyone's weekend gone?

Sarah I think donating just a little bit to all 3 sounds like a good idea. times are tough for everyone right now. We are still so thankful about Brinkley. He is just doing wonderful. Goldens are the sweetest animals. I think I will probably always have one. The only thing that drives me crazy some days are all the hair. Our golden, Emma, sheds like crazy. I did take her to the groomers and they brused out her undercoat so the shedding has been better since then.

My appointment is at 8:15 in the morning so I'll update as soon as I get back. I believe in my heart that all is okay but it will be nice to have someone else tell me that. I am still pretty sick it does seem to be getting a little bit better.

Sorry AF has been so bad. It must have something to do with the HSG. I hope your dr. can get you in on Friday and I hope they have some answers for you.

i love crock pot cooking. Makes the entire house smell so good. I might have to make a roast soon.

Katie I hope you are doing okay. We miss you.

Hope you ladies have a great Sunday and I'll update you in the morning.
