I am ready!!!! We will have 23 days (right?) to get ourselves in good enough shape so that we don't feel bad about pigging out on Thanksgiving...and so that what we eat on Thanksgiving doesn't impact us that much and we bounce right back! I think I'll have to go to Zumba a LOT!

Did you see the Zumba work out for the Xbox? I've been looking into selling our Wii and getting an Xbox. (Just have to get DH to agree lol).

Oh and I finally found a job to apply for!!! It's a Federal job and I'm really excited about it. If I get it the we might really be able to afford fertility treatments.

DH won a one year membership to the YMCA at a benefit he attended so we joined 2 weeks ago. I have really bad anxiety about leaving my girls in a daycare type place (Im a SAHM) but I have been making myself do it because it feels so good to work out again. I take the girls after they wake up from their naps and they seem to have fun there so that makes me feel better.

Plus I love it because the treadmills and elipticals have a tv attached to them that you can plug in your earphones and watch whatever channel you want!
Thank you! I'm really hoping I get it too! A YMCA membership sounds wonderful. Ours is so expensive. I've been thinking of rejoining the Gold's Gym but I've been hoping the have a new promotion because it's expensive too.

I decided this morning (after a candy binge yesterday) that my goal until Thanksgiving is going to be to workout at least 30 minutes every day and really cut down on my sugar intake. So wish me luck!
Thank you! I know you want to work out every day but you might want to allow yourself the weekend to not work out. That way you do not get burnt out and quit all together.

We have been considering getting either an Xbox or a Wi. Which one do you ladies like the best?

No workout this morning. Going to try to get in a workout sometime this afternoon. Hoping to find my motivation.
Thank Melissa! I'm really crossing my fingers that I get this job. I like my Wii but I think the Xbox kinect looks like it's more interactive and I think with that I will get more exercise. Sending some motivation your way

Katie, the new job sounds so exciting!!!! I hope you get it!! You will be SOOOOOO much happier!!! Keep us posted!!! I haven't found the Zumba game for the XBox yet, but I definitely want to get one.

Joanna, you definitely have some great motivation going!! How is the weather where you are? Is it warm enough to go running every day? I agree with Katie about giving yourself a day or two of rest. Your body needs time to recover. We don't want you to overwork yourself.

Lindsey, I'm so glad you've joined us! I hope that you enjoy going to the Y to work out. Your kiddos will be fine in day care and I'm sure they'll have a blast. Plus, you need to take time to do things for yourself. Those machines with the tv's sound great! I think more people would join gyms if they were all like that!

Melissa, how is your bladder infection? I hope that they were able to get you on antibiotics and that you are feeling better!! Pregnancy symptoms are one thing, but non-pregnancy related stuff is no fun! I have the XBox (with Kinect) and my best friend has the Wii. I really like both of them. The advantage I have seen with the XBox is that you don't have a controller to hold. The Kinect thing records your every move. It's actually a little creepy sometimes because the thing moves with you. It's kind of like a robot...like it's watching you! LOL!

My workout today is house work. I have some stuff outside that I need to take care of to prepare for winter. I will have eggs for breakfast and we're either going to have steak or salmon for dinner. I have a steak thawing, but I saw that salmon is on sale for $6.99/lb and it just sounds really good. We bought a pig this year that has now been butchered so my BF is going to pick up the meat this evening. Soooo...we will have plenty of pork products for the next year. Unfortunately, I'm most excited about bacon!

Sarah - I basically just run inside so the weather doesn't really matter. The only consistent time I have to run is at the gym in my building on my lunch hour. I didn't get to workout yesterday because I was traveling for work. But I will definitely run today. I'm not planning on running everday (just 3x per week) but I want to try to do something active everyday. Even if it just means taking Jack for a walk.

Sarah my dr. did call me in some antibiotics so I am thankfully getting better. Bladder infections are no fun. No workout for me yesterday but I am feeling pretty good today so I think I am going to go home and do some step aerobics. Actually looking foward to it. It's been awhile.

Joanna I do most of my running inside also. I run really early when I am running so I just hop on my treadmill. Alot easier than getting outside especially when it's cold.

Sarah good luck on your house work. I know I would rather work out than do housework.

Sarah here is the Xbox Zumba game. It looks like so much fun. Reading your post just made me so hungry for bacon. DH and I just got our deer back from the butcher last night so we are going to have fresh steaks tonight.

Lindsey how is the Y Membership going? Are you enjoying it?

Joanna I hate to run so that's not something good for me but that is awesome your going to do it 3x a week and other things the rest of the time. Hopefully that keeps you motivated since you won't be doing the same thing.

Melissa glad to hear your feeling better. Bladder infections suck. Have you done your kettle corn lately Lol

Hey ladies. Hope everyone is doing good in their workouts today.

Katie that Xbox Zumba does look like alot of fun. I'm think DH and I may need to get an Xbox for Christmas and try that out. I think I would enjoy it. How is the job hunting going? have you intereviewed for the new job. I am keeping my fingers crossed that you get it. It sounds great plus if it would allow you to do fertility treatments, that would be so wonderful.

Joanna did you run today? How far are you running?

Sarah looks like you might get a positive OPK soon. I hope so, then you and BF get to DTD and hopefully in a few weeks you'll get your BFP. When was your appointment with the specialists again? Seems like I remember you saying Nov 7, so i believe that it's coming up soon.

I'm feeling so much better except for the fact that our security alarm went off at 1:30 am in the morning today. Scared me to death. DH got his gun out and walked around the house trying to figure out what had triggered. I finally figured out that our phone lines had gone out which caused the security alarm to go off. I am changing phone companies today. We are always having trouble out of our phones. So Katie I don't know if I'll get in any kettle corn or not today. Very tired.

I haven't been online in a while. I have just been too distracted with other stuff and busy taking care of things around the house.

I am actually headed to bed right now, but wanted to check in. Tomorrow is my appointment with the specialists so I need a good night's sleep. I got a couple of + OPK's and it looks like I O'd yesterday. We didn't have the best BD sessions in, but at least it was better than nothing. I have been BAD at working out, but today I mowed the lawn to pick up leaves and used the bagger so not only did I push the mower, but I also had to continue to haul the bag to the side of the woods and then dump it and repeat...mega work out! LOL!!

I hope you ladies are well!
