Renee--

Your poor mom! I hope you tell your parents how much you appreciate all the HARD work they had to do just to keep you alive & well! They didn't have humalog then. I cannot imagine.

Yes, I was very young. I do know what my mom went through!! I cannot even imagine how hard things were on my mom. She was a single mom on top of it! I also can't believe she went on to have more kids after me!! LOL

I want one more child...a girl...so we will adopt in the future. But I am not passing my gene's on again. Not unless it just happened. LOL! But I try my best to keep the little spermies and eggs from mixing. LOL!

Just thought I would let you know that out of 10 kids (8 with the same mother and father, 2 with a different father) I am the only one who is diabetic so it is possible to have more children without diabetes.

I can understand that. We considered having a 3rd child a little bit before Danielle was diagnosed. We went back & forth, and then we decided that since we had one of each, we should call our family complete. I worried that we would get twins and then I would really go nuts! After Danielle was diagnosed, I was happy that we had made that decision, I cannot imagine taking care of a newborn on top of doing all of the stuff for Danielle. Teresa...you are superwoman!!
