Do you think your kids eat too much or too little? Do you think they prefer healthy snacks or junk food? Are you a good role model for eating habits?

I try to be. Daniel is hard work with eating. He is very limited and rigid in what he will eat and won't eat much in the way of fruit and veg. I really worry about his immune system tbh especially as he seems to have had bug after bug this winter. We do try, we introduce new things on his plate, offer rewards, "hide" veggies under other things. But he's absolutely adamant. I don't know where he gets it from, when he was weaning, he'd eat anything!! And we eat a LOT of veggies and salads!! He has learning difficulties as well so it's twice as difficult to get him to do what we want. Any suggestions would be welcome!!

My Daniel is the opposite. For some reason, he was born thinking he's a vegetarian!

I think we have a nice balance here. They are occasionally allowed to have junk type foods. Usually though they will both pick the healthy snack over the junk food type snack. I like to think that's because I have been a good food roll model.
