My LO is 6 weeks old and has a crooked smile. I think it's adorable but I am hoping nothing is wrong like Bell's Palsy or anything. It is normal for baby's to have crooked smiles? LOL I am a first time mommy and everything worries me, hehe.

I would bring it up to the doctor in a couple of weeks at the 2 month checkup. It's probably nothing, but the doc will be able to tell if the entire face is involved, or if she's just slowly learning how to smile one side at a time. (Babies typically start smiling between 4-8 weeks, so this would be perfect timing). Is she eating well? If she's not drooling from the droopy side while eating, you can bet the muscles are working correctly. Probably nothing to worry about.

(Weird... I just noticed your post is dated for last Friday. I wonder why it wasn't visible until now? I check this board every day! Sorry for the delay in response.)
