How do you protect your kids from the sun in the summer?

My kids have "rash" style swimsuits (long sleeves and stuff), and I put sunscreen on their faces.

I use sunscreen on the girls, although I grabbed whatever I could find this year and it ended up being one of the worst you can put on your kids For some reason sunscreen for kids is REALLY hard to find here.

I use rashguards for my son, and am really tempted to buy the boy types for my daughter. I can't seem to find swimsuits under 12mos that have the matching shirt. I also still sunscreen them up before putting their swimsuits on. My kids are extremely pale and I don't want to exposed them to the sun too much. They also wear floppy hats while outside. I think I'm probably paranoid, but I figure helping them now will only make it part of "routine" later when they want to fight me on it.

California Baby or Badger sunscreen, floppy hats, and sunglasses here. Both girls have rash guard suits, but both girls hate wearing them. Violet is especially pale but I just try to minimize direct sun exposure and she's never burned.
