Hi there,

My 3yr old son has had 2 swollen lymph nodes on one side of his neck area. He's had it for a year or so now. And everytime I brought it up with couple different doctors, they tell me some kids just have it and it doesn't go down, and it's nothing to worry about it.

But one thing I am wondering is, are these permenant nodes cancerous in the future????

Have they run blood tests? Have you done allergy testing? If so, it could just be that they're positioned closer to the surface than usual. Is you havenMt had any tests done, I'd start there, and certainly with a new doctor... preferably immunology or infectious disease subspecialties.
