Does anyone's LO have a hemangioma? Did you do any treatment for it. My Madison has a large one on her neck and it is pushing up on her ear. The dermatologist wants to treat it with propranolol, a medication usually used for heart issues but now being used for hemangiomas. I am really worried about it. First she has to go get an MRI of it to check the vascular structures of it, than we go to a ENT to check to see if it's affecting her ear and throat, and then to a cardiologist that will monitor the medication. Just worried and was wondering if anyone has been there with their LO.

My oldest had two of them on his face when he was born, but they both went away on their own. I'm sorry! I wish I could tell you more from personal experience.

I looked up the treatment you're talking about. (The only treatment I knew about was surgery.) It looks like this treatment is still in the experimental phase and may have side effects (scroll to the bottom of this article).
