I have officially started the hCG diet as of Sunday. I am keeping a daily journal but I wont bore you all with the same old stuff every day (LOL)... Ill update when I see significant progress.
I am hoping by the end of the diet that I will be close to my prepregnancy weight and size (weight 135-145, size 4-6)...Phase one is 30 days of the VLCD; phase two 14days increasing calories readding fats but avoiding starches and sugars; phase 3 reintroducing carbs until you find your sensitivites and your set point. All in all about 2 months of "dieting".

Starting weight 162.2lbs 25.5% BF (according to one of the new fandangled scales... I think its actually much higher)
And the cuteness that made gaining 70+ lbs all worth it!
Today is day 12 of the diet and I feel GREAT! I have been having urges to excercise even though it is not recommened in this phase of the diet. I have felt very satisfied with my meals and people are starting to notice the difference. PS I fit into my size 9 pre-preg jeans this week zipped and buttoned no sucking in!!
I have lost 10.0 lbs according to my scale and a total of 21.75 inches in two weeks!! I can't wait until tuesday to find out how many lbs of body fat I have lost. My goal is to lose at least 20 lbs of body fat and last week I had already lost 9.4! (Yup I exceeded my weight loss, had actually gained a couple of lbs of water) Even if its only 4 or 5 lbs Ill be happy because this phase of the diet extends until the end of Feb so I will definately meet or exceeed my goal at that rate! On another note, I bought my BF tickets to the Celtics game for V-day, the game is on March 15th just in time for me to have no more food restrictions! We agreed to celebrate V-day late since I cant really eat much right now so we will probably spend the day in the city celebrating *yay*! I hope I can wear my skinny jeans hehe
Im in phase 3 of the diet as of feb 25th. I have been eating exorbitent amounts of fats and calories (about 2500 a day) and havent gained a lb! I am very excited to say that so far this diet does everyhting it claims to do and I *feel* great!
So I am now officially on round 2 of the diet. After this if I have anymore weight to lose ill excercise it away... I love the diet because it works so wel but its stressssssssful!
I ate about 8000 calories this weekend consisting of well over 500g of fat (disgusting I know) and I didnt gain not even an ounce! Today was my first VLCD, I had chicken breast with green beans for lunch and for dinner and coffee w/ skim milk for breakfast. I also had two apples for snacks. I wasnt physically hungry today but after my gorgefest this weekend my brain did not understand the lack of food haha
