eventually yes.... paci's for sure. Not sure about bottles/nipples. I think I will have some on hand, but I want them to be difficult to start using so I dont quit on bf. Likely I will do the pacis around the time I do my hospital bag, about mid-march

We never sterilized anything with Abbey. She didn't use any bottles and we just washed her pacifiers with hot water and her soap for the short 2 months she used them. We washed her sippy cups in the dishwasher.

I just did the paci's. I don't have any bottles yet since I'm b/f but once I get them, I will wash them good before I use them.

We did the bottles and pacis before first use. Then everything got cleaned in the dishwasher.

I believe this is what we did also. We may have periodically re-done the nipples (we had playtex drop-ins, so the bottles were irrelevant) just to get rid of buildup, but not very often.

I'll boil everything when I need it. I'll be exclusively breastfeeding and won't need a bottle any time soon. I'll make sure to have my pumping stuff ready just in case I need some relief. I'll do the rest maybe a month or so after she is born.

I will probably sterilize the bottles the week of my c-section, after that I will continue to sterilize them for 1-3 months and than just wash them in hot soapy water (our dishwasher doesn't get run often enough to do them in it.) The pacis I will sterilize the day before my section so I can pack them in her bag.
