My midwife felt my belly to see where my little girl was lying. She suspected she was lying transverse with her head by my right hip bone. She did an impromptu U/S and played it off as lets just take a look for fun. I kind of think she just wanted to confirm she was laying that way. Anyways, did any of you ladies have previous experience with a transverse baby? I am trying not to worry too much because it seems like she has time to turn. What do you ladies think?

well I think that her head being by your right hip gives her a MUCH better chance to turn or be turned if it comes to that. don't worry until they tell you too... No extra stress for mommy and baby.

All of mine have been transverse and then flipped....Jordan flipped head up, Jayden and Christian flipped head down. This one was traverse then flipped head down. The baby has plenty of time to turn head down...try not to worry just yet!!

My little girl is still transverse. I'm not worrying until around 32wks or so. And that's only because all my others have been head down and dropped by then. None of my doctors are concerned at this point and I see an OB and a high risk dr.

Yes my daughter was transverse until 37 weeks so you have time! She finally turned at the last minute, but we were so worried!

Mine was transverse at 28 weeks and flipped at 29.5 weeks. I wouldn't say you have anything to worry about

Way too soon to worry. This LO is still pretty much diagonal, head down by my left hip. My midwife said he was on his way to head down. With two months (give or take ) left to go, there is plenty of time to flip positions.

If you get to around 35 weeks and baby is still transverse, there are exercises you can start trying! they worked to turn Abbey
