so recently two different people have seen me and not known I was pregnant. granted i was wearing a light zip-up hoodie (unzipped and open) but after me being pregnant came up they both say - "oh, I didn't know you were pregnant!" helllo!? how ******* fat do you think I am?! ugh. I wish i knew how to post a pic on here b/c I DEFINATELY look pregnant. idk how they could not know. To be fair, i've gotten plenty of comments from about 20 weeks on about being pregnant from strangers, but when someone says i didn't know you were pregnant - it just really makes me feel like a big cow! especially since at my 24 week appointment I was measuring 30 weeks...i feel like now i'm almost to the size I was with DS at full term!

OH man... I know thats annoying... but they might not have meant you looked fat but before the moment they saw you they didn't know... But I can understand the comments are very annoying. I just had a lady say I looked like I was about to pop and when I told her I still had months to go she asked if it was twins.. :/ I was thinking really I don't look THAT big yet.
I've had people say that about me too, and I agree, it is annoying and does make you feel like your fat. Some people have no filter and don't think before they speak.
I'm getting stares from strangers but no one has asked me when I'm due but I know I look pregnant cause strangers' eyes always gravitate towards my belly! But man, you are having twins, how could they not know? Stupid people!

Don't let it get to you! It's not a reflection on your size at all I'm sure. People are just so paranoid about "assuming" you're pregnant that some of them would rather wait until the baby is there before they ask if you were pregnant
Haha I've had a handful of awful ones too like someone not knowing I was pregnant and when the subject came up she goes "oh you don't even look pregnant. I thought you were just a bit heavier!" thanks lady!

Try not to let it get you down. I've gotten quite a few dosies lately. If I can find a way to turn it around on them and make them feel stupid I will. Like this conversation with a lady at Applebees:
Lady: WOW! You're ready to go any day now, right? Me: Nope, not until the end of March. Lady: OMG you're HUGE what do you mean the end of March?! Isn't your doctor worried about how ginormous you are? Me: Nope. Lady: Oh honey you really should get another doctor. They should be very concerned. There's no way you should be that big. Me: They're not concerned at all about my size. Both babies are growing well. Lady: Well they should be... wait... did you say both babies? Now I feel dumb. Me: WELL YOU SHOULD!!!
thanks everyone, i'm glad to know it's not just me! I can understand when people don't want to bring it up, but then when I tell you don't say you can't tell when I'm obviously huge! its obvious people just don't know what to say sometimes!

people are just dumb,.. when i was 5 or 6 months pregnant with #2 (and definitely visibly pregnant) I had to take my then 1 1/2 year old to get stitches below his bottom lip because he bit through. My mom went with me. (she was 50) They put his arms into a pillowcase and layed him down so that his arms were held down and then the nurse told me to lay on my stomach over him and hold him down. I was like "um, excuse me?" So my mom did it. then the Dr. came in and said "I've never seen the Grandma do it" I was like COME ON MORONS!!! I can't lay on my stomach for an hour while you stitch up my child are you freaking kidding me?!!!!!! and it's not like my mom had to get out of her wheelchair or something to do it! Good Lord!
Hun people are going to make comments. I've had people say and even attempted to open up my sweater or jacket and say I didn't know you were pregnant. Did you see the size of me in my pics?!? And Ive even had a doctor ask if I was or n
Hun people are going to make comments. I've had people say and even attempted to open up my sweater or jacket and say I didn't know you were pregnant. Did you see the size of me in my pics?!? And Ive even had a doctor ask if I was or not! I flipped sh*t on that one. People make stupid comments! I'm now getting the you are as wide as you are tall ones. Embarrassing!!!! Don't take it to heart!
I had to go to the ER because my throat was swelling from a nasty cold. When the MD starting telling me what he was prescribing, I asked if they were all safe for the baby. He said being 13 wks everything should be fine. I looked at him a little stunned and said "30 weeks!"
