nope, dh has to go home to be with our son, but even with hunter I sent him home at night. He was much more helpful during the day when he'd been home to sleep and shower (plus even then he had to go home and let the dog out )

DH stayed with me when I didn't have a kid at home, but when I had J, I sent him home to Marcus. I'll do the same this time. Just because I just had a baby doesn't mean my kids don't need as much normalcy as possible. I'd rather they have daddy home to put them to bed like normal than have him with me. Being away from my kids for long periods of time really stresses me out. I'm a lot more calm when DH is there since I know J won't flip for him like he most likely will for anybody else.

If my Mom is here than DH will be staying with me for at least the first night. With my son, he left the first night and I wasn't allowed out of bed by myself so I had to call in a nurse just to get my son out of his bassinet. It was a PITA and I refuse to have to be so dependent on the nurses this time.

Nope DH will be there for the birth, and a few hours afterwards, and then he has to go home to watch the other 3 kids. He'll come up and visit twice a day until we get to bring Brayden home then as well.

Nope... Just be and the babies. He will go home a few hours after they're born, and then just come to visit with the kids.

Rora's gonna stay with my parents for the night. We moved some three or four times the first year of her life and I've always joked that's why she's so blase about things other children would flip about and getting to have a sleepover will be pretty thrilling for her. DH is going to stay with me. Since it's my second birth I don't anticipate having to stay more than one night anyway.

DH is staying with me through labor and delivery and will be heading home to be with the girls. He stayed with me with E and L, but he needs to be home for them this time around.

My DH will be there. My dad will be staying with my son. I'm sure he'll go home to take showers and everything but mostly he'll be staying with me. I don't like being in the hospital alone.

Not sure - DH will probably stay overnight at least the first night and one of our parents will stay at our house with Jace. If I have another C-Section and need to stay for a few extra nights, I assume DH won't stay every night as our parents might not be able to stay multiple nights...

My husband will be staying with me the whole time. He might go home to shower or something but we only live 5 mins from the hospital so he wouldn't be gone that long. We are lucky though and have grandparents who live right next door to us...and our son goes over there all the time. They will be the ones watching him when we are in the hospital. He loves being over there and asks to spend the night with them sometimes so we are 100% comfortable with him spending a few days over there

DH will probably want to stay around as much as possible but someone needs to go home some to be with the dog and let him out to potty. Not sure if my mom will be here while I'm at the hospital or not yet since we can't predict baby's appearance date. lol But, if she's around then maybe they will alternate or something.. I think I'd prefer not to be in the hospital alone, though during the hours I sleep I don't think I'll mind being alone.

Nope, even with my first I sent DH home a few hours after the birth so he could get some rest at home. Now that there are older kids, all the more reason for him to go home.
Probably he and both of the older kids will spend quite a bit of time visiting at the hospital with me while I'm there, but they will all go home to sleep at night.

Dh. I sent DH home at night with DS so he could care for dogs (even though we had someone coming 3 times a day) and get some sleep. I had such a difficult recovery though and DS just wouldn't sleep at night so I had a really rough time. This time he will be staying with me (he really wants too) and someone will be staying with DS at night and taking him to daycare in the morning. DS will spend late afternoon and dinner time with us at the hospital and DH will take him home, put him to bed and come back to me.
