Margaret Julia made her way into the world on Tuesday, April 10 at 12.47 pm. 7 lbs, 11.5 oz, 20 inches. Almost all-natural delivery; needed some pitocin to help a little after waters broke with no onset of labor. No pain meds, no epidural, no tearing, and only four pushes! A world away from my first...
We're both doing well, although Maggie is in the nursery under lights for high bilirubin levels and super-high risk for jaundice (she's not the least bit yellow, but blood doesn't lie, I guess). Nursing is tough going when it's so scheduled and regimented. Hoping like mad that she'll be released tomorrow and we can head home to learn all about each other and finally get some bonding time.

Congrats! Good luck with the nursing, it's soo difficult when you're just trying to learn each other and you can't be right next to them. Hoping she's out soon for you!
