DD hates to be swaddled and since its pretty warm here, I'm weary of swaddling her because I fear she'll overheat. So my question is, for those of you in warmer climates: do you swaddle?

If not, what does baby sleep in?

What temp. do you keep your bedroom or nursery (if baby sleeps there)?

For us right now, we keep the nursery about 77-78 and DD sleeps in either footie PJs or a layette gown and we tuck a light receiving blanket around the edge of her co sleeper and it reaches up to her chest but she kicks it off in the night.

I'm super worried about over heating or freezing her out.

We've been having them sleep in a onesie and swaddling them and leaving the windows in our room open at night, because it's been warm here lately. One day last week it hit 95, and that night we kept them in a onesie with no swaddle. They didn't sleep so well, but I knew they'd overheat in a swaddle, and I refused to turn on the a/c because it's too early in the year for that yet.

I swaddle Zoey with a onesie underneath. We turn the a/c down to about 73 at night and we have the fan going in our room too. She never seems too hot when I take her out and it definitely helps her sleep better.

It has been warm here until today, but Bella has felt cold (with a sleeper AND onesie on even) so she gets swaddled. She loves it.

We co sleep so the babies are just in sleepers. During the day I will swaddle them for naps if they get fussy. But like our other kids they aren't fond of swaddling.

We keep the temp between 69-72 (SIDS prevention recommendations) and he sleeps in a cotton footie, wrapped in a swaddle me blanket. He sleeps pretty well!

Our room is around 73 degrees. Owen sleeps in a cotton sleeper with a swaddle me thingy-do and a light blanket on his legs. We do have the window furthest from him open because it gets so stuffy in our room.

We can't seem to get the swaddle right. DD can't seem to get comfortable in the crib without it. We co-sleep and she is generally just in PJs. I think we keep the room around 73 or so

I don't swaddle. I don't think she likes it. She sleeps in footie pg's or a night gown. She sleeps with me with a blanket or in the rock n sleeper with a blanket.

I have no idea what the temp is in our room but she sleeps in jams with a blanket loosely swaddled.

When she is in the cosleeper that is. Otherwise she is beside me and under my cover.

We swaddle, he can't settle to sleep without being swaddled. If it is really warm I will just have a onsie underneath or even a just a diaper if it is really hot.

Yes we swaddle. I want to know what cover everyone is using to swaddle. I like thin fleece blankets that stretch good so I can make it tighter. I haven't bought the actual swaddling blankets because of the cost.

This is what I use. I cannot get a good swaddle out of a blanket, but I LOVE these.

We keep the temp at about 70. She wears a onesie, a sleeper, and a thin cotton receiving blanket tightly swaddled.

Onesie with an Aden & Aneis (sp?) swaddling blanket. He doesn't sleep well not swaddled.

The swaddle blankets are really breathable too. It's muslin cotton or something.
