I had to wake up early to get Marcus to school and was pondering a few things in my sleep deprived state while driving...

1. yesterday we were sitting outside as the sun was setting and a big ugly black spider went running onto our patio. The boys were going after it trying to stomp on it and then suddenly... it disappeared. We moved a bunch of stuff trying to find it but couldn't. Where did it go??

2. This morning when I was getting Marcus up, a series of things made me realize that he peed the bed. He was in new pjs and had put a towel down on his pee. Anyways so I've looked everywhere for his peed in pjs and can't for the life of me find them... where did they go??

3. Last night DH asked me if I wanted him to kill the AC. I gave him a perplexed look (we never turn it off at night because DH sweats like a pig and I hate being in bed with a sweaty pig!) and said no. Last night we were both hot and sweating and just gross and low and behold he had turned the AC off. Does he hear what he wants to hear? Why bother asking??

4. Gemma leaked like crazy in one of her diapers last night. I accused DH of putting it on wrong but upon changing her, he put it on fine. This is not the first time she has leaked in a diaper he put on her. Why is it that she never leaks when I put a diaper on her, but DH will put it on the same way I showed him and she leaks almost every time??

Have you been puzzled by anything lately?

Nothing like that.. but I sure would like to know how the heck I'm still pregnant? lol I have heard FTMs go over often but I felt like I personally knew/had heard of WAY more who went early as opposed to late and genuinely didn't expect to make it to my due date.

I'd also like to know what the FLIP possessed my dog to come downstairs in the night and get into the kitchen trash and spread it ALL over the kitchen for me to find at 3:30am?? Yeah.. he's been a trash monster every once in a while in his life but why last night animal??? lol He totally took advantage of the fact that the trash bin is one of the like.. 5 items still at our old place so he just tore up the bag and had himself a trash snack.

I was feeling that exact same way when I hit my due date with Marcus. I was pissed I was still pregnant, especially a week later! lol

I'm wondering how much longer I will procrastinate on writing the birth story, working on birth announcements, and requesting a new siggy I think about them every day and never get around to it.

I'm wondering WHY thunder scares me even though I know it can't hurt me or the kids. the sounds just makes me feel ill. My anxiety is so much worse postpartum.

I'm also wondering why I'm getting headaches every single day even though I drink easily 64 oz of water...ugh.

It's becoming laughable at this point. Especially since I seem to be becoming this highly irritable pregnant person whose maternity clothes no longer even fit. Like, I think I just need to go into hiding until Friday because I'm just not a nice person. lol I don't even really feel like "mad" that baby isn't here yet.. just shocked!

I wonder why my dh sleeps through Zoey's crying. I always go to the bathroom when she starts to cry so she's usually crying for a few minutes. Is he really that immune to her cry?

I also wonder why dh automatically assumes every time he holds Zoey and she cries that she is hungry and passes her to me, even if I'm in the middle of doing something, like brushing my teeth. Surely, he can let me get ready for bed in peace.

Adi - I had a similar incident last night with a spider in my kitchen. it just completely disappeared on me!!

Bonnie - I only have 1 comfortable pair of maternity pants left. everything else seems to cut into me. ugh. it's horrible.

I've been getting headaches every day too. Though I'm not drinking that much water.

I wonder why I can manage to load and run the dishwasher and all the dishes come out clean, but every time DH loads and runs the dishwasher more than half of the dishes comes out dirty. How is that possible?

omg it's the opposite in our house. I think I load the dishwasher too much. Our dishwasher sucks. DH doesn't load it as much so the dishes get cleaner with him.

Another thing that puzzles me, why does my street always become the busiest street in the world when I'm running late? It takes me 10 minutes to get out of my driveway sometimes!

I wonder why it takes me an hour to nurse my newborn, when my friend is able to nurse her newborn in 10 minutes? Why can't I nurse her in 10 minutes like my friend can?

some babies eat faster than others... but seriously your friend probably isn't feeding her baby enough... ten minutes doesn't really sound sufficient for the hindmilk so maybe don't be so jealous about it!
