How long did it take for your babies stump to fall off? Did you save it??

she was 10 days..but she still had some left in her belly button so I still couldn't give her a full bath. Its almost gone now at 16 days. No I didn't keep it..altho when my oldest was born I kept his stump and his plasti-bell LOL its gone now

she lost hers at a week old, I definitely didn't keep it ... it smelled like death!

DD lost hers at 3 weeks old. The doc had to help remove it. I guess she was quite attached to it!

We didn't save it.

He lost it at 5 days at the doctors office. I asked to keep it and then we all got distracted and forgot to grab it I still have Abbey's in her baby book.

She lost on Friday or Saturday, around 2.5 weeks.

Max lost his before we left the NICU, so between 14-17 days old. Charlotte held on to hers for FOUR weeks!

Emma lost most of her's at around 2 weeks, but a small part of it was still stuck. It took till about 3 weeks for the rest of it to come off. The main part though I picked up and considered keeping. But after looking at it and deciding it looked hideous, keeping it just wasn't for me lol.

save it? EWW! do I save other scabs that fall off? no.nasty. G's fell off at like 6 days. The boy's did around that time too. Never longer than a week!

Cantons is still hanging on. he will be 2 weeks tomorrow.
Even though we are cleaning it with alcohol several times a day, it still SMELLS! We kept DS's, but if Cantons keeps smelling like this I probably wont keep it.
