Juliet had surgery Monday to repair her aorta. Surgery went well then the next day she developed necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC). So she is on heavy duty antibiotics and can't eat for at least a week to let her intestines heal. It appears to be getting better, though she's not completely out of the woods.she's been awake a lot today and last night and she is hungry. It is sooo hard watching her fuss to eat and not being able to help her. And we are 4hrs away from the rest of the family so it's very lonely here :/

that is so sad...I can't imagine seeing your baby be hungry and not being able to do anything about it. That would break my heart! *hugs* I am glad her surgery went well though.
