There are seven requirements that must be met to use breastfeeding as birth control. If they're met, chances of getting pregnant before 3 months is 1%, 3% before 6 months. Requirements include baby not going more than 4hrs between feeds, cosleeping, no pacifiers, bottles etc, napping during the day with baby, and baby younger than 6 months I got pregnant when my 3rd was 11 months old and still nursing every couple hours.
