I don't really care if Gemma wanted to play a "boy" sport. I would hesitate to let the boys do something girly only because DH's family is very homophobic and they would ridicule them. I don't want to rip DH from his family but I wouldn't be able to hold my tongue against them so.. I dunno. I'll jump that hurdle when I get there. Though I do think I want to put Marcus into gymnastics because he's got the best balance ever and have you seen male gymnasts? they're arms are huge!

I wouldn't be bothered by it. I played baseball on boys teams, and took Taekwondo classes with all boys.
It didn't screw me up at all. Although sometimes I have unnatural cravings for bacon
Hahaha!!!
I wouldn't even blink! My 7yr old foster son LOVES to dress up in princess clothes and play "house" or act out stories with his sister and my daughters. I see nothing wrong with it, and actually make extra sure to make sure he knows it's perfectly okay for him to do "girl" things.
No issues here either - I'm making sure my LO can play whatever she wants to play. Her grandfather is a martial arts expert so I guess she's gonna be doing that.
My thought process is that if she wants to do it - she better do it well no half-a$$ing anything....
I would be ok with it. My son loves baby dolls and is going to the Strawberry Shortcake Convention with me this coming week. A few years ago he wanted to be a princess for Halloween and I would have let him except that a week before he asked to be a princess, he asked to be a ninja and we spent 60 bucks on non refundable ninja costume stuff.
