Well while I want to be a SAHM when DH eventually finds a job (which in this economy is going to be tough), I've been applying for bigger/better jobs in the meantime because my current company, in the merger, decided they were going to cut my pay by next March by $6000, which has me making what I originally was making when I first graduated from college, and which we CAN'T live off of.

Well I got a call from another bank yesterday and guess what? I did a phone interview for bank manager (I'm a banker right now), and they are very interested in me and I have a face to face interview next Monday! I'd probably be making close to TWICE what I am making now. I figure if I have to work I might as well be furthering my career and making more than I am now....

Wish me luck this would be a huge step in my career and would open up so many doors and possibilities for the future! And I wouldn't feel as guilty leaving the kids to go to work when I'm actually bringing home more money than just enough to barely scrape by.
