Let's start a list. What is your favorite part of being due in May?

I think the best part is the weather, and the fact that the child still gets to have a birthday during the school year
Also - the pregnancy weather is ideal! You don't have to be super pregnant in the dead of winter or the dead of summer, and you also get a cute bump by the time the holidays come.
In my opinion, one of the best times of the year by far!!!

The weather!! I'll be able to wear flip flops!! With DS my feet were so swollen by the time he was delivered I couldn't wear any shoes except flip flops and I am so thankful that I'll be able to wear them again.

I was going to say weather, but last May we had LOTS of tornadoes, but at least it won't be freezing cold. DD is a January baby and we had to take her for her newborn check-up in a blizzard. Not fun!
Ditto to still being in the school year. I was starting to worry I wouldn't get pregnant this cycle and would end up with a summer baby...and I do not want to be 9 months pregnant in July. A few weeks ago it was 114 here, ugh!

Definitely not having to be hugely pregnant in the middle of summer! DD's birthday is mid-August, so I was miserable in the heat. My poor SIL gave birth 11 days after me, and she didn't have AC!!!!!!!!!!
And on a personal note, my mom will be able to be here, since she goes up North to work in mid-May and would have missed it if it were later in the summer.

Soooo many things! The weather in May is perfect both for being pregnant and for birthday parties. And I think it is cool that our babies will be born the same month as Mother's Day. I also like the idea of having a cute bump during the holidays!

Weather!!! I live in TX and the summers are sooo hot. So I will not have to be pregnant in the summer yay!
Also it seems like a month you could have outdoor birthday parties for the kiddos. My youngest is in January and we always do indoors. My oldest is in March but the weather can be cold or sometimes warm enough for an outdoor party. You just never know.

best of all for me would be not having to miss my daughters dance recital and end of the year school performance and graduation! but the bypassing the summer heat with a big belly and enjoying holiday food is the icing on the cake! also, we go to the tulip festival every year, which i really enjoy the iris's and whatnot...would be great to get my last pregnancy belly photo with my family in those gorgeous fields of flowers....followed quickly by a newborn butterbean! <3

having a baby by Mother's Day! Mother's day was SO HARD for me this year. I am looking forward to holding and snuggling my new baby on Mother's day. Of course I will still be sad Kaiya isn't here, but it will ease the pain a little!
Oh...and Emerald Birthstones! I love green

Becky it's my birthday month too! I'm looking forward to seconds at Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners without the guilt! Also I wanted to have a baby during the summer months because I am so much more motivated to get my butt in gear during the summer months so hoping that will make it easier to work off that baby weight. Also I'm just happier when the sun is out and the sky is blue . May is a gorgeous month here.

The best thing about having a May Due Date is being able to have ALL summer off for maternity leave!! my son was born in late may, and i had all summer to go on walks and enjoy the nice weather. If we are pregnant now, my due date would be early May, so i would have to go back to work in like august i think, but i'll still have the bulk of the summer off.
