I'm very excited to see the doctor on Monday. I'm sure it will just be to get the basics out of the way since I am only 4 weeks, but I am excited Also I can bring up my bad nausea and insomnia. I was medicated for nausea with my other two pregnancies. I think I might need to be with this one as well. I really hope I like the doctor. I'm a bit nervous about that. I will be using a different doctor then I did with my boys since we live in a different area now.

Hope you have a good appointment Monday and they will help you with your nausea! I went today to have my levels checked and everything looked good. I have to go Monday as well to make sure they are still going up.

oh you're so lucky! for your 1st appointment, not the nausea! (you tried ginger roots?) i hope you get an ultrasound! i don't get my first appt until 8 weeks. rubbish!

me either But i do have a follow up and my OB/gyn for something else on monday.

Good luck at your appointment. I haven't hit the nauseous stage too much quite yet, but the insomnia is awful for me as well, and when I am sleeping, the dreams are enough to exhaust me!

Well it went really well! I LOVE my doctor! We talked about so many things. And were on the same page.

I was given prescriptions for my allergies, nausea, and a pre natal vitamin since the one I am on doesn't have DHA in it.

I go back in three weeks for my first sono He said we need to give the baby some time to grow and develop since my appointment was so early in my pregnancy. At that time I will do bloodwork as well.

We covered my last two pregnancies and my vaginal birth and c section. And also the extra tests I will be taking since I am almost 38.

How many extra tests do you have ? We are TTC and I'm @ the 35 mark will be 36 with baby and we are curious about that too.

I'm not sure now. He mentioned a few. I think they might be optional as well. I know I have a couple of friends my age that didn't want to take them. I will ask again at my next appointment and will write it down.

Oh I bet in the section on this forum called pregnancy over 35 might have a better answer for you. I will check there as well.
