Im paranoid I know but this menstrual like cramping I've had for the last 2 weeks sucks. I know from work that alot of cramping/contractions are caused by dehydration, but I've been drinking tons of water so I know thats not it. I haven't had a bit of spotting so thats a positive. I had a ton of spotting with my daughter. None was ever bright red blood though, just pink.
Anyone else having this?

I was convinced I wasn't pregnant the first time around because of the cramps. No one could tell me if they had menstrual like cramps and then ended up pregnant. I had them, I'd say, the first 12 weeks or so. When I asked the dr, she said as long as they aren't always on one side and severe (possible ectopic) or along with bleeding, then there was nothing to worry about. She said your uterus is going crazy growing, and the cramps are natural. I was told to take tylenol for them, but I'm not much of a medicater, and the were really never bad.
They stink though. I'm constantly thinking "are they worse" "should I check for spotting" "is it always this one side" UGH. My sister had an ectopic and it is definitely one of my worst fears.
I had period like cramps Sat-Tues. Finally feeling so much better about it, as they are mostly gone. I even tried asking the nurse about it when I called to schedule my appointment. When she called back I wasn't home though and she said "we will try you again later" but never did, and since I have no spotting and the cramps went away, I'm not too worried anymore.
I, too, have some. I inquired with the nurse when I went in last week, who also said "as long as they aren't one sided or severe, it's ok" to me. She said cramping can be totally normal- your uterus working and doing it's thing.
