Most of you remember my last OB from hell that made me cry. Well she's Long gone and this morning I get to meet my new OB!! I'm excited and nervous. I hope it all goes well. I heard. I might get another ultrasound out of it. So I'll update when I get back

Ot.... My sister in law went in to deliver her first baby yesterday about 3:30 in the afternoon and as of an hour ago she's still only @ 7cm. Poor thing! Remember how long those first babies took? So I'm excited to possibly hold a newborn today

Well he didn't harass me so that was good! Lol he asked about birth control after and now we are thinking of just snipping hubby instead of my tubes tied.

But.... I have marginal placenta previa........again!!! So I'm on restriction from lifting anything heavy, strenuous activity and have to be "careful/gentle" with sex. Yay.

Good luck with the new OB and congrats to your SIL! My first labor was under 7 hours from first contraction to birth, so I never had the "typical" long first labor that people talk about sometimes.

Hey you. Yeah you. Stop talking about how long first babies take!
I've been terrified ever since a few days ago when a girl I know that gave birth at the same hospital as me had a sixteen hour labor with her first one. O_o

My best friend only had a five hour labor all together with her daughter, but now I'm starting to worry about it taking twenty years to have this baby!

I'm glad you got a good OB now, nothing ruins the happiness of baby appointments like an arse OB. Hopefully they continue to be awesome...if not, find a new one again! It's not worth it putting up with people's poo anymore.

My labors were not the horror story either.... knock on wood.... I have had relatively short ones. With DD2 it was so funny though, I was scheduled to be at the hospital by 7am and it was after 7:30 before I arrived.... I was so scared of labor. My mo was waiting at the hospital from a three hour drive before I even got there.... she says your late.... really? Do you remember how bad this is going to hurt???? So yes even with short labors, I still fear them! Hope your sister is doing good.
