i really fancy this bedding. but my hubby thinks its much too boy-ish. wdyt?

i'm on the hunt for something girly...but not pink, nor purple.

so far this is the only thing i've found. well, i also really like this:

Brooke Nursery Bedding | Pottery Barn Kids

but, i prefer it in the twin bed set rather than the crib. ha! this is hard!

do you fancy any of these? and if not, got any ideas where i could shop for a girl, but un-girly colors?

Well, it's blue, but still really feminine looking. I like it a lot.

And I love The Pottery Barn bedding too. Both really nice choices, imo.

Um it is flowers! That is not boyish at all, I would not use that for a boy! I think it is pretty and girly!! I would think most guys would say "that's too girly" if you tried to use it for a boy! I also like it much better than the one in the link.

I LOVE IT!!! It is ADORABLE!!! I am also having a hard time finding stuff I like. UGH. Look at this though...
CoCaLo Couture Harlow 4 Piece Baby Crib Bedding Set
and this...
Glenna Jean McKenzie 4 PC Crib Set
LOL we may have TOTALLY different styles, but I love those! It's fun looking for a girl
And I am in love with this, even though you said no pink lol, there is a purple one similar. AGH, I need another baby after this haha

Well, my first thought on the first one was "it's boyish" but then I thought that my DH would never let me use it for a boy.
I like the second one better but they are both nice.

I agree with the no pink thing. I love this set. Not masculine at all. I like this better than the pottery barn set.

If I had a girl, there was black and white set I loved.

Did you know pink was actually symbolic for boys and blue for girls. But I forgot when that changed.

I don't think it looks feminine or boyish. How crazy is it that flowers = girl and blue = boy. Our society drives me bonkers sometimes.

Both are lovely.

Those are so cute too! I really was hoping for a girl. Girl clothes, girl decor, girl toys...all more fun than boy stuff

I looked at that one too! I was thinking that there would still be enough pops of pink with clothes/blankets etc for it to be obviously girly. I think its cute!

LOL - I love this.

I am 100% with you looking for stuff that's girly but not your traditional in your face pink. I had too much pink when I was little and refused to wear it again until I was in college, I don't want my little princess to deal with that. I really like the bedding you've picked.

That is very cute! I think the flowers make it girlie without being OMG GIRL. Very nice choice!

(I have no other comment since Kate's room is painted pink with pink bedding. LOL)

I like it! Don't think it looks boyish. If you paint your walls yellow, it will help take away from the blue of the bedding.

I've always loved that set. Not boyish at all!

ETA: I saw this one yesterday & fell in love. If we do decide to paint the nursery over, I may go for it.
