LOL! I have one of those! I bought it because it makes perfect smoothies but I will definitely be using it for baby food too! My SIL used hers all the time. She just put a little of whatever she made or dinner in it for my nephew. It worked great and no extra mealmaking.

yeah probably. I doubt I will store any. I just grind up whatever I am eating myself. I have a food processor if I have to make a lot. but I usually use my hand grinder.

We try to avoid baby food at all costs. So probably not. Baby Led Weaning worked well for DS2..So I think we will go that route again. He got to eat food when he was ready. I think he was almost 9 months old before really eating much on a daily basis.

I made my own with Lily, but with Vi I did Baby Led Solids/Weaning (not weaning from the breast...some ppl get confused on what it means). So, just started her on soft pieces of table food and never did purees with her. Worked great and was super easy.

We're definately getting one of these, I like the idea of watching my babies food get made instead of popping open a jar, makes me feel like I have a little more control over the health factor of what they're eating.
Plus it looks like a good money saver, especcially since we're planning to have more after this one.

Nah. I just mash up what we have. Caroline wasn't into purees anyway. I may do a few jars of puree in the beginning, but once they get the hang of swallowing, I alwas found them to be too watery and messy. I don't put a lot of stuff in our veges anyway.

We registered for one of these and I am hoping we get it - if we don't I'll be buying one. I think it's a sweet idea - it seems like a great way to make sure you know exactly what your baby is eating AND save some $$.

I probably wont invest in one as I plan to mostly skip purees and if I have to use a few here and there it would be easier to buy a couple jars.

I have considered getting this. I tried making puree for my youngest and he didn't like it. He really didn't like baby food period. But especially if I made it. I just used a blender then. But I like this product and all it comes with. So if I go that route I will probably get it.

I try to avoid baby food too, I attempted baby led weaning with DS, but he had a gagging issue that we had to get over, so I made some. Someone gave me a ton, and I ended up passing it on to someone else.
To make mine- I just used my food processor.

Oh and for working mom's- I didn't make separate food- I would leave some of the seasonings out till the last minute and take his part out first. So no extra time there really. I did buy any fruits, just because it was easier than making them.
