I have a new favorite baby product! Caroline has had some nasty diapers, and rashes comming from all four of her top teeth comming in at once. I picked this stuff up to help gets the poop off of her. Its amazing how fast that stuff can dry and adhere to the skin, and also wipiing really hurts them when the skin is irritated. This stuff is great! She ggets cleaner and it also made her skin feel better. I spray it on before I wipe and use a sensitive wipe, or if she's really bad, ill use a washcloth.
I heard about this line thru my older childrens ddbs. Its fabulous for sensitive skin. All natural organic ingredients. They have a whole line of stuff from soap to bug spray. They sell it at target or online. Gotta love my crunchy granola friends. they have the best advice when what I'm doing isn't working. I also just use corn starch in her diaper to keep her dry.
Here's the link: Target Mobile Site - California Baby Non-Burning Diaper Area Wash - 6.5 oz.
Oh, oh, oh!!! I LOVE California Baby products!!! I honestly use them on myself every day and have for over a year - I use their super sensitive line. I have been known to get really dry skin and/or rashes from dry skin. Eczema runs in my family and so does sensitive skin in general. I love it for me and intend to use it on Bri once she arrives too.
I am so glad you found something that helps with your DD. Just a word of advice - if you would buy in bulk (a good way to save a few $$ since this can get expensive) check out the California Baby site - they sell most of their washes and lotions in 1/2 gallon or gallon sizes so you can refill the little bottles.
Oh one more thing... I LOVE the sunscreen (a little goes a long way, rub it in) but the bug spray didn't do anything to help me.
I use this on Allison when she gets a diaper rash that hurts to use wipes on. It works wonders! I also reccomend Triple Paste diaper ointment for those rashes. The only rash Allison has ever had that wasn't cleared up by an over night use of this is a yeast rash!
