Tylenol and drink something caffeinated. The combo works for me.

^^^ agree. Tylenol and caffiene, and if its migraine, i use a heating pad on my head and neck.

Usually the tylenol doesnt fully take it away, but it helps take the edge off.

If its at night I take a dose of Tylenol PM and drink an extra big glass of water. A hot shower with the water right on my neck/shoulders helps too. Then off to bed with some soothing music in the background.

During the day I try and make sure I stay hydrated, eat a small snack, and have a cup of something with a bit of caffeine. Some Tylenol also helps if its really bad.

I agree with Tylenol and a bit of caffiene. My doctor told me "take 2 tylenol and drink a coke". I don't do caffiene hardly ever, even when not pregnant, so for me I do a 1/2 a coke, because the caffiene overload of a whole one gives me heart palpatations and keeps me up all night!

Oh and I also use my headache mask. It is a gell, Zoro looking mask thingy, that I keep in the fridge. It's cool and soothing on my face/head/eyes.

Tylenol. Gastric bypass patients aren't allowed to have caffiene bc it makes you retain water so that's a no go for me. We can't have soda or carbonation either. So that's out.
But a warm bubble bath works wonders I live.....LIVE for my daily bubble bath escapes. Plus it's the #1 place baby jumps all around in my tummy

I answered in Jennlynn's too. 90% of the time I can get by with a combo of either tylenol/caffiene during the day, or benadryl/tylenol pm at night. I prefer the benadryl over the tylenol, just for a couple of personal reasons. Stress reductions, and I really like to do a warm bath in VERY low light, just barely enough to be able to see to get in and out, and combine the warm bath with a pretty cool compress on my forehead. That at least helps reduce most of the tension and takes the edge off usually. Prevention, and taking my tylenol as soon as I feel it coming on seems to be the best treatment for me.

I did break down once several weeks ago and take a single dose of fioricet. Doc said no, pharmacist said yes; I was confused; but I was hurting so horribly bad; I decided that for me the benefit was going to outweigh the risk. I had been suffering for a few days straight and was getting entirely stressed too much due to the pain. It helped a lot.
