so the past couple times DH and I have DTD, the next evening I have lost parts of my mucus plug and spotted. I know it is normal to lose your mucus plug and it will regenerate. and I also know it is normal to spot after DTD. but I didn't have this with DS at all, so it is making me uncomfortable. so I was wondering where it is happening every time, should we hold off till I talk to my Doctor(I go the end of the month). or just chalk it up to normal and continue as usual?? ..I really don't feel like calling into the office to ask them

I'd ask. Blood scares me. We thought we were safe to dtd bc my placenta previa was only partial, but we just found out we should have been restricted this whole time. So if something bad would have happened during those times I would have blamed myself big time,

It never hurts to ask.

I'd either call and ask or stop DTD until your next dr. appointment when you can ask. I know it's normal to bleed after DTD but not sure about losing part of your mucus plug everytime.

I guess I really should call. we have such a small office and I know most of the nurses and receptionists personally lol. so it is always awkward when asking something personal, and then they mention that they saw my mom while shopping the other day hahaha. oh well the safety of my baby is more important to me than my pride.

I think your doing the right thing in calling. But yes I completely understand being a bit uncomfortable. Let us know what they say.
