I'm just about 26 weeks. I had an OB appointment yesterday- along with the 1hr glucose test- and when they weighed me I learned that I had lost 1 pound since my mid-January appointment. I think part of it might have been having the appointment at the beginning of the day and not eating anything beforehand (while my previous appointment was right after lunch). My BMI is higher than ideal and I've gained about 12lbs so far, so my OB didn't seem to be too concerned. Has anyone else lost weight between appointments this pregnancy?

My belly is measuring right on track, the heartbeat was good, and baby girl moves a lot, so I'm trying to take it all in stride and just eat (healthy foods) when I'm hungry.

I've gained 12 too. Who knows how many more to go. I'm not worried about what I gain this pregnancy, it's just how long it'll take to come off after birth. Probably a good 6 months at least. I'd like to go on ww watchers 6 weeks after birth. Our bodies will do what they need to do.

As long as your dr. isn't concerned I wouldn't worry. Sounds like your doing great.

Between my November and January appointments I lost a total of 10 pounds. My OB knew I had lots of stress in my life at that time but was concerned. She put me on modified bed rest to make sure I was getting enough rest and nutrition. I find out if it worked tomorrow!

I lost a pound too I wouldn't worry if your Fundal height was fine.

I've been eating healthier so I wasn't too surprised

With DS, there were a couple times when I had lost a pound or two between appointments. Towards the end, I think it is pretty common as we start to find it hard to find a place in our tummies for food. I definitely wouldn't worry a bit about a pound, especially since your dr isn't worried.

I lost five pounds with DD during the 2nd trimester. If your doctor wasn't concerned I wouldn't be. One pound isn't much and like you said could definitely just be the different time of day you went for your appointment.

I have been consistently losing 1-2lbs every month since October. I also had extra weight to start with and all is good with baby. My doc says that our metabolisms are higher while pregnant. That along with better nutrition and smaller stomachs as baby squishes it can contribute to the weight loss.

If your doctor is not concerned then I wouldn't be either.

I wouldn't worry at all. A fluctuation of a few pounds can occur every day depending on what you've eaten, water weight, time of day, etc.

I don't think I'd let a pound worry me at all. I'm still only up about 7-8lbs as far as I can tell at 25 weeks; like the other ladies said; as long as fundal height/growth looks good and docs aren't worried; it sounds perfectly healthy to me.
