Leave it. We use the chico keyfit 30. When the baby is older and wants to sit up, then we just leave the seat in the car. Once baby is ready to be forward facing, we go with the nautilus for all of them. My 4 and 5 yr old have a nautilus, and we will be getting caroline one when she's ready. Just not quite yet.

Probably leave it. I still have a chicco keyfit to use. But I'm considering getting a Radian RXT for the baby, which you can use from newborn up.

Oh, and for ladies that are using a convertible seat to start - please make sure that you check it and make sure babies actually fit in it safely at newborn stage. Many of them say that they work at like 5lbs, but baby doesn't actually fit safely in them. Shoulder straps should be at or below their shoulders, not above when rear facing!

Leave it for now. We got a travel system. He will be in the carrier/carseat until he is too big. After that possibly.

leave it until at least 7 or 8 months probably I think Infant seats are just safer and I love being able to get them in and out of the car while sleeping and not having to mess with 100 buckles 100 times a day lol

Leave it for a newborn. We use an infant seat for newborns and switch to convertible later on.

Take it! Actually, just bought it! Junior is going to be riding in a Graco MyRide65 in my car (most days) but I do have an infant bucket for DH's truck. I can't carry the baby bucket for 6 weeks or more, since I'm having a c-section, and I just don't enjoy carrying that huge thing around after that.

We'll use an infant seat. The convenience is worth the cost for me.

They are just as safe as infant seats, however, I will be getting an infant carrier seat. I think a Chicco.
