So the past few weeks I started getting some discomfort down there...Its rather hard to describe but I esp feel it when I pee. It feels like swelling or maybe opening or something...and it makes it hard to walk normal, like sort of an ache. Also feeling some pain in my pelvis...Doctor said baby is head down so I just figured that he is probably just putting pressure on my pelvis and that would explain the discomfort..but I totally forgot to mention the vaginal discomfort ( I hesitate to call it out right pain cause it isnt that bad..just uncomfortable and I feel it moslty when I am walking moving, lifting my legs etc.)

Anyway, anyone else know what I am talking about?

Sometimes it feels like pre- period pains I used to get in my pelvic area.

well i do know that your vagina can swell from the increased blood flow. The last time DH and i had sex i was so swollen after, i couldnt really walk, and i was so close to tears.

Pelvic pain is normal, your pelvis is widening and prepping for giving birth, and its painful. Try taking some warm baths the next few days, it should help with the pain a bit.

Yes, I have the vaginal discomfort just like you described. It seems to be worst after I've been laying down in bed all night and I stand up for the first time in the morning. I call it lightening crotch!

I have some swelling and that is causing me discomfort. I think what you are feeling is completely normal.

I get that too..I refer to it as pressure; but I think its the same general feeling. Mine is worst after work/busy days; and while (TMI) pooing. I agree that its probably just baby putting pressure downward..warm baths totally help me though!!!

My girly parts are so swollen all the time. And I have a couple of varicose veins on one of my butt cheeks.

I agree that it is normal. I've started getting it more lately...I also feel extreme amounts of pressure whenever I squat down for anything, it feels like baby is about to jump out of my vagina
