Anyone get their "area" waxed while pregnant? I remember reading that it was safe.....but does it hurt more while your pregnant? I have gotten it done alot, but never while pregnant. I just "tried" to shave, it's been WAY too long. And it was a huge disaster. Dh will be coming home after being gone for four months, right before the birth and I want to be well groomed.

I have never been waxed pregnant or not. So i'm not sure. I usually just shave it all. But I haven't been able to in months and it's driving me crazy. I hate hair on my body. I even miss using Nair on my arms. I will have DH do it for me before my c-section I guess.

I say go for it!

I joked to dh about him helping me out before I go into labor. lol He said yes, but wasn't happy about it. haha I haven't shaved for like three months and I couldn't stand it anymore. I'm like you, I don't like body hair.

Yes I have! But the time before that when I wasn't pregnant it was so long ago, I am not sure if it hurt worse or what. I like the results though! I'm a big fan. No way do I ever let a razor blade down there.

Hahaha..just did yesterday afternoon. It hurt like HELL! Excuse the language but there's no other way to describe it ha. It was tolerable but i think mostly because I didn't wanna seem like a big baby. I feel so much better though and it was only a bit sore for about an hour after.

I wax and it's not more painful for me while pregnant. I might just be super used to it now though and I don't have much hair either, so it's over super fast.

Gosh I feel like such a wuss. I tried my legs a couple of times and got a huge rash. It hurt so bad. I just use a trimmer for now and hubby says he will shave it if I want him to. I truust him as he is a nurse and does it frequently at work.

I don't wax but I don't see why not. I would strongly suggest not at least a week before your due date incase you did end up in c section. I know that I am not even supposed to shave..I don't know why but it says it on my preop. I would think waxing would be worse in that case.

My preop doesn't say anything about not shaving. Hmmm. I did before my last c setion. But I don't recall how close to it I did it. I know they had to shave me a little before they cut me. To be on the safe side I will ask my OB.
