the last few days I've been like impossible to keep hydrated. I dont really get thirsty like i crave a glass of water, but the back of my throat is scratchy and dry even right after I finish a glass of water, I wake up in the night not because I have to pee but because I have to drink and my fingertips are really dry. Also I would rather just drink than eat because I feel so bloated and uncomfortable after a meal.

I passed my GD test so I don't know if this is just normal or if maybe it's separate from the pregnancy maybe its like allergies or something, I dont know.

I'm thirsty all the time also, but I'm thirsty even when I'm not pregnant. The scratching in your throat sounds like it might be allergies. Could just be your body telling you that you need more water.

I'm so parched the last few days. I just can't quench my thirst. I crave water with chopped up ice. It seems like I'm chewing ice and drinking most the day. But still no relief. This is an odd feeling for me considering I never feel thirsty normally and have to remind myself to drink.

I'm thirsty all of the time too.... I usually drink a lot of water but I've been drinking even more since I've been pregnant. My GD 1hr test came back normal. I even go to bed with a glass of water on the side table, and I drink the entire glass (taking a sip whenever I wake up) most nights. I'd say go with it. Your body knows what you need.

It is normal to have periods of greater thirst I think, as the pregnancy takes a lot out of us. Also, though , this happens to me whenever I am about to come down with a cold Hope that isn't it for you though, pregnancy + colds suck!
