I've been walking more because of my new job (I take commuter rail then walk 3/4 of a mile between the station and my office). My the end of the day, my abdominal muscles are killing me. One spot in particular, about 6 inches left and 3 inches above my belly button really hurts. It's definitely the muscles which hurt. I put pressure on that spot while I was walking to my car this evening after the train commute, and it seemed to help. Anyhow, has anyone used a maternity belly support for sore abdominal muscles? Is it worth the cost? Any other suggestions for sore abs? An ice pack seems to help, so does giving myself a massage (DH is afraid of hurting the baby and his belly/ ab massages don't help).
I used one with my first pregnancy from about 32 weeks until the end. It was awesome. I carried my baby totally in the front and it just gave me the right amount of pressure relief and bracing I needed to make it though a 40 hour work week. I am a social worker so I'm on my feet alot going from floor to floor and in and out of patient rooms. IT was a big help.

I'm just going to start staying in my rolling office chair all day at work and scooting everywhere I need to go.
On a serious note, I also carry fully in the front, so I just may look into this as well.
