This sounds silly and I know I have a low anterior placenta but she just seems sooo much more gentle than karmen was. Karmen would kick and it felt like she left a bruise, I haven't had anything like that this time and she's head down so I should be feeling harder kicks up by my ribs.

With that and what the u/s tech saying about her being so content and a good sleeper through both 3d ultrasounds with us both shaking her, im hoping I just have an easy going baby. Lol

My husband slept through the night from birth on so maybe I'll get lucky and shell have his genetics.

Also she never ever wakes me up at night which is odd. She is active about 930 pm and again about 730 am, then randomly throughout the day.

Mine sounds like the opposite of yours. Brayden is a mover and a shaker. He kicks, he punches, he tries to roll, he headbutts. He moves from the time I lay down at night until I get up in the morning. And again, most of the day. He's rough and tumble.

That being said, my first baby (Alex) was super quiet in utero, and didn't move much at night. He was gentle. He still is. My daughter and my last son (Cady and Ethan), were both movers and shakers and never sat still in there. They moved all night long. They both are still like that...they go go go and are rough and tumble.

So looks if history repeats itself I will end up with 1 gentle, easy going child and 3 rough and tumble never stop going children lol!!!

This baby is moving all the time and is rough! Mainly low punches and kicks, although I'm starting to get some higher as well now.

Both my girls were movers as well and they're both pretty active now.

My girl is a disco dancer but she's gentle. She moves constantly all day, but it mostly just tickles.

Yes, she is very gentle. The kicks my son would give me would almost take the breath out of me.

I have an anterior placenta too, so I guess that does have something to do with it. Or she might just be comfy in there. lol

Hayden is both. She is gentle because she doesn't kick hard. But when she does move its pretty uncomfortable. But I am lucky in the sense where she only moves alot in the morning as soon as I wake up and at night as soon as i lay down. She will kick randomly during the day but not as much as the other times.

LIam is very gentle and content sometimes I feel his hands flutter around and every once in a while he pushes a foot or elbow into my side but for the most part his movements are laid back stretches and rolls. I hope he stays this content!

No mine is not gentle at all. He looks like he is trying to escape from my belly and you can see it from the outside. Kind of fun b/c it freaks people out, lol. My first was pretty gentle though. And he still is!

This baby is strong and active!! He moves around A LOT- and he seems to always be crazy when I try to lay down to go to bed. I feel like he's more active than my girls were.

My little boy is not gentle at all. His kicks hurt. He is much more active than Jackson was when I was pregnant with him. This baby hurts me all the time.

Baby girl moves alot, like all throughout the day/night; and when she's stretching and rolling you can see it pretty clearly on my tummy, but her movements are MUCH more gentle than either of my DS's were. The only time her kicks have hurt were when I was at a concert Thursday night. She was either loving or hating it, I'm not sure which!

Luke moves a lot but most of the time, it is just a rolling feeling. Right before bed, he will get super active and make my tummy jiggle everywhere! Then he calms down. He has never woken me up in the middle of the night.

The only time that he has ever hurt me is when he will get down by my left hip and kick. That hurts. It feels like bone against bone. Ouch! And sometimes he will push against both of my sides at the same time and make me feel like I am going to split open. But that doesn't hurt so much as it is just uncomfortable.

This boy is more of a stretcher than anything. Nothing too bad. wyatt was the worst, and he's still nuts! Haha
On an off note, my mom used to tell me that I slept thru the night. Well, turns out she used to just put me in the nursery from birth, and shut the door. So, aparently I just screamed to myself all night. Hopefully, your hubby actually did sleep thru! That would be a dream come true huh? fingers crossed for you!

No!! This one is starting to hurt me with how she kicks... she's getting up towards my ribs and that is not fun. Plus she punches me way down low at my cervix.... ow! She moves all. night. long. Getting hard to sleep through it, even.

Kate was really active in utero too and she was a pretty high needs, don't-ever-put-me-down infant..... BUT she's turned into a really mellow toddler.
