My relaxin kicked in yesterday big time and let me just say OMG!!!!!

I am soo sore, I feel like my pelvis is going to hit the floor and every time I stand up its like my hips have been disconnected and just dont hold me up. It's so uncomfortable!!! I knew I would feel like this eventually but I sort of thought it would be later, and I never expected it to hit so quickly. Not to mention now my legs are swelling too. Oh man 2 more months seems like a long time!
Mamma J likes this.

This has been going on with me for a few weeks and I really don't like it! I feel like my pubic bone is going to split apart and my innards and baby are going to just fall out and hit the floor! It's quite annoying and it's making my usual daily tasks seem unbearable! My DS was so high so I never had to deal with this but now this baby girl is so low I'm so worried she's gonna fall right out! I feel like maybe this means I'll go earlier with her???

Oh man I hate it when things hit all of a sudden like that! It's like one day you're fine and good and the next suddenly you are VERY pregnant and uncomfortable and sore. Ug!

Ugh, it sucks huh? And it gets worse with subsequent kids. I bet your body will adjust some and the pain will subside in a week or two.

I hope it adjusts, I could barely climb the stairs tonight to get to my bed!

Right there with you girl!! NOT fun...but I do find that it's worse if I sit for long periods of time and then get up. So I try to fight through the initial soreness and then keep busy for a bit, taking smaller breaks. It doesn't take the pain completely away, but it does make it more manageable for me. Also, if you have a pool (local YMCA or someplace indoors) that helps SOOOOOOOOOO much!
