I have this exact one and I love it. I used a regular therometer and put up Jackson's rear end in the beginning and let me tell you he was not a happy camper, so this made life so much easier!!

I have that one for Allison and I love it. Makes life so much easier with a squirmy toddler or infant. It's the same kind as the kids' doctor uses so Allison doesn't freak out if we go in for a sick visit!

I would love to but not sure if we'll be buying it. But if we can swing it we will!

We have it and love it. But it isn't all that accurate for itty bitty babies. I tested it and mine was waaay off when he was a newborn. So he got the rectal thermometer then.

Woah, I've never seen one of those before! We just have a normal digital ear one but that looks pretty cool.

I'll probably leave it. Unless she ends up needing her temp check often I might have to look into it.

It would have been a waste of money with DS. He has had about 3-4 fevers in his whole life and they were low grade.

Possibly take. We've always done rectal as newborns, then ear. That's worked well for us, but I know the temporal ones are way easier to use when they're squirming around.

Ok, I have that exact one. Mine must be broken tho because I can't get a decent reading to save my life. And if you retake it, the reading drops lower everytime. So ill be sticking with my handy rectal thermometer for the time being. Haha

This is what we have in the classroom and it is ok. Maybe it has just been used too much (who knows how many sick or pretending to be sick kids its been used on lol) but it isn't the most accurate.

I have a hospital-grade ear one for the family that my step-mom (she's an RN) got for us, and it works great with Chase too. When he was a newborn we could only get accurate readings with rectal thermometers so I think we'll stick with that.

Have it and HATE it so leave it! Lol We have one at the daycare I work at and it's never accurate and gives a different reading every time! I just recently bought a Braun ear thermometer and absolutely love it!

I had a different one and it was the biggest waste of money. I couldn't get a reading to save my life. I think on average my DD temp would be between 76 - 93 degrees.
