I am scared to death. I am moving accross the country at 8 months pregnant. I'm more nervous of trying to get a new doctor approved before I go into labor. This was a bad idea. But i need to get out of here. I am beyond unhappy here and all my family and friends are back home for support. I just hope everything goes well.

Yuck. I feel your pain..slightly. We are moving as well, we have out grown our condo and have to double up square footage wise, we aren't moving across country but moving anywhere at any time especially pregnant is never fun. Best of luck!!!

do you have a doctor in mind already, if not get a reccomendation and pick one now before you move because you will usually have to sign paperwork in person at your current doctor to get your records moved and stuff.

Good luck with your move. I hope you find a Dr you really like.

YES!! I just switched to a dr in a different city and it seemed like it took an act of god to get all my paperwork etc...I would get copies of all of your records from your current dr and schedule an appt in advance with the new one. You will sign release forms but sometimes OB's can take weeks to fax over all of your info so atleast you will have all of your records for them to go by.

Not yet. I'm not sure exactly where i am living yet. But i should by next week. But i already plan on getting my records to be moved as soon as i find out who my new doctor is or getting a copy of my records to give to my new doctor myself.

Good luck! I moved in the first trimester and it sucked! However, I'm so glad we did because it was the right thing to do for our family. Sounds like the crappiness of the move will be well worth it for you. Hope that everything goes as smoothly as possible!
