Ok so this is day three of being so nauseous. I don't want to eat. I have barely ate anything all day long. I also am having back pain on both sides of my back about halfway up the middle of my back on the sides...sort of where my kidneys would be.

Should I call my doc or just wait to call until tomorrow? I don't feel I'm in labor but I just don't feel good..and I'm wondering if my kidney infection I had a few months ago may be reappearing?

Does your doctor have a 24 hour advice/nurse line? I'd probably call just because of all the issues you've had this pregnancy.

I have been feeling nauseated though the past few nights as well. A lot of women do get nausea/morning sickness back in the 3rd trimester though, and I had it again with Lily and Vi, so I'm just chalking it up to that. But the back pain would worry me a bit, especially since you recently had a kidney infection.

Yeah there is the back pain and thats what it feels like honestly...like when I was hospitalized for the kidney infection. And I've got chills now too. No fever. A few sporadic contractions but that is not much different. But I don't even feel like drinking water but am forcing myself to for the baby.

I just hate going in again. I know if I call they will say go to L&D. I feel like such a loser going in there everyone there knows me. They are probably like "Oh great..its HER again!"

Even if they do say that, that's their job to make sure that you are okay. I think with the contractions you've been having and everything, then it's better to play it safe. If you do have a kidney infection again, then that could cause more preterm contractions and other issues, so it's best to get checked ASAP for it.

I had this all last week, including lower abdominal cramping, and blood in my urine. They treated me for a UTI on Monday, but I was still in a lot of pain on Thursday, so I had to go into L&D, where they said the infection was gone but I still had some blood in my urine. Friday they did a scan on my kidneys and found three big kidney stones, so they admitted me to try to flush them out. They didn't flush in the day I stayed in there, and so it's pain management for me for the rest of the pregnancy until baby is out and they can do lithotripsy.

The doctor said my pain was from bits of the stones breaking off and traveling down my urinary tract.

I had really bad cramping in my lower stomach and my back all day yesterday. I was shopping ( for like 15 mintues when it started) and actually had to sit down in a dressing room because i couldnt walk anymore. I came home and guzzled tons and tons of water.
Ive also had many bouts of 3rd trimester nausea.

I would get some gatorade or pedialite and hydrate yourself, water is good, but those two are better for the electrolytes.

And only you know if what you are feeling is normal for you or not. if you dont feel like it is normal, go in. If you feel like you can tough through it a bit longer and get some rest and hydrate and reevaluate in a few hours then do that. Sometimes our bodies are just telling us to slow down, i know mine has been. =(

Well the answering service isn't answering so I think I'm just going to go get my urine/kidneys checked and make sure everything is ok at L&D.

I'm home! Urine/kidneys looked fined so she said the baby may be laying on a nerve causing the pain in the back and the nausea is prob 3rd trimester nausea.

They did check my cervix while I was there because I was having a few minor contractions and she said my cervix is soft and very favorable for labor..which we don't want at 33 weeks! So I'm continuing to take it easy and have a follow up dr's appointment on Tuesday.
