We are using only disposables. I think cloth diapers are adorable though and I can't wait to see pics of our May 2012 fluffy butts!

I'll be using disposable. I just don't think I want to deal with the cloth. It is a great idea and I know it would save money but working full time and taking care of a newborn and a 2 year old, my time is not very plentiful.

I put disposables, but when the baby is a little older and doesn't poop every time she nurses (if she's like DS was) then I might look into doing a mixture of both. I stay home and it might be okay to use cloth while I'm here.

I'm a sposie mama. I did cloth with DD (my mom made her diapers) until I was gone too much to deal with the laundry (my mom had lung cancer and was undergoing chemo and radiation). I discovered how much simpler it was for me to use disposables while I out and about and don't want to go through the hassle with DS.

We will use disposable. Yo can't get the cloth one in Ireland unless you buy on line.

After cleaning out poopy underwear while trying to potty train, I've definitely solidified I'm not cut out for cloth.

We're going to give cloth a try. A lot of our friends have done it and are giving us cloth covers and liners so we'll save quite a bit of money. I just ordered a "starter kit" yesterday to get us through the newborn stage and I think we'll be good to go!

Cloth here. I've used it for all my kids from birth through potty training, so I'm used to the process

Disposable. I'll have an 18 month old when this LO is born. I don't think I could handle cloth.

My sister gave us her stash of cloth diapers. She had to re-buy when her son was almost 2 (but still so tiny that he was using the 10-22lb Kushies) because the waterproofing around the legs started to fail, and then he potty-trained really quickly. She told me that most of the diapers only got used for 2-3 months. We're going to use prefolds and covers once the umbilical cord falls off until our baby is big enough for the AOIs. I work fulltime and have a long commute and I know it will be a commitment, but since our startup cost was less than $100 (I bought new prefolds and a few extra covers since they are so cute)... I think the money savings will keep us motivated.

Cloth for the baby. My toddler is kind of in 50/50 right now. (Cloth when we're at home, sposies overnight or if there's a surprise diaper change when we're out, and some sposies on days when I didn't get to laundry yet.) But FWIW, toddler poopy dipes are so not even in the same BALLPARK as newborn dipes. This toddler stuff is NASTY.

Cloth after her cord falls off. I already have my 16 month old in cloth full-time, and have since he he was 3.5 months old. I am buying them both 1 pack of sposies so that I don't have to worry the first couple days while I recover, and then its back to fluff!!
