90% of the time, she sleeps in her rock n play. The other 10% she sleeps in bed next to me. Every now and then when i'm desperate for a couple hours of sleep I will leave her in bed with me after she finishes nursing. I don't want to make it a habit though.

Ditto exactly to Lindsey! Kira is almost always in her rock n play to sleep. This morning I kept her in bed with me after her morning feeding and we slept well for another 90 minutes...yay! I don't do it often but I have to admit that it's cozy.

I'm sleeping in a separate bedroom so it's just me and K in the bed and there are no extra pillows or anything for her to get wrapped up in. She's all swaddled up and doesn't move or roll around anyway; she's like a little potato in the bed.

Yup lol they generally end up in the bed with me when they are NBs tho. Owen has reflux and was choking in his sleep. we had several times it got in his lungs and he would froth at the mouth. Scared me half to death. so i moved dh to the living room and sleep with him next to me, and my hand on his belly to be sure hes breathing. Once he's more stable with the reflux, ill graduate him back to the rock n play, and then to his room. I'm just a little overprotective for the time being.

Yes, all of my girls have. I feel safer with them right there. Not to mention the benefits of more sleep and ease of nursing. My girls have all slept through the night from very early... Dd2 2 weeks. It works well for us.

Co-Sleeping or bed sharing? Some people have different ideas of what they mean.

Around here Co-sleeping means baby is in your room & Bed sharing they are in your bed.

I started off co-sleeping with Madison in a bassenett but it just was not going well and she would not sleep for more than 10-15 minutes so I pulled her in bed with me.
I did bed sharing with her until about 9 months then she spent half the night in her room and the other half in my bed.

This baby I have no plans just going to go with what ever gets me and baby the most sleep.

We bed share most of the time. Otherwise, we co-sleep with Grant in the rock 'n play next to the bed.

Bed sharing most of the time. Try to get a little sleep with her in the playpen bassinet, but that doesn't always work. Its the only way we get sleep.

We bed shared with Aiden until he was just around a year old. We moved his crib to Frankie's room. They actually enjoy being in the same room together.

I am not even going to attempt it this time around. I am extremely sleepy 24/7 and pain pills have not helped matters. I even doze off on the phone. I'm sleeping way too hard to chance him in bed with me. So he is in our room in his rock and play sleeper.

He is in our bed in a snuggle nest. When he outgrows that he will move to his crib which is set up in our room. He will b in our room with us for a while because we want him to share Chase's room eventually but not until he's sleeping through the night.

Brayden sleeps 24/7 with me...for naps, at night, everything. Once I go back to work I imagine he'll have to sleep in his co-sleeper bassinet for naps..but he will sleep with me at night.

I'm not yet, but I pretty much assume she'll end up in my bed at night. I was going to cosleep with Kate next to the bed.... she had other plans. The only way we got ANY sleep was to hold her, and once I discovered sleeping with her next to me, well, I was a much happier, more rested mama! So I'm going to start Ember out in the cosleeper and see if she'll tolerate that. If not she'll be in my arms.

We have a Moses basket and I have that in bed with me. I try to get him to sleep in that as much as possible, but I do hold him some.

We fully intended for Kaelan to sleep in his own crib in our room... However, sigh, with him being sick etc etc.. he sleeps with us... It has meant although we do get some sleep, its not great sleep because we are worried about him being in bed with us... but its either that or we don't sleep at all... We are TRYING to get him to sleep in his own bed.. he slept for 4 hours the other night in his own bed.. I am hoping that improves soon...

with our first son, we had a very strong belief that babies will never share our bed. My son is almost 4 years old and has never slept in the same bed as me. For the first 3 months, he slept in a craddle in our room, but then was moved to his own room when he slept through the night.

I have the same intentions with this baby. She will sleep in our room, but never in our bed. I am not against co-sleeping, but it's just not something my husband and I chose to do.

I too, had hard core...nope not my bed. No way. LOL, guess who has been there the past 3 nights all night It's the only way to get some sleep! I don't even think a rock and play would help him. The incline of the bouncer and swing do nothing. He wants mama or daddy and I'm ok with that

Aubrey will sometimes bed share. Mostly when I've side laying nursed her and I've fallen asleep. I won't make it a habit when she's older thought bc I don't want a 2 yr old still sleeping with us.

I am bed sharing with my 2 year old, she was going to make the transition to her own bed, but her accident changed that for now. I have a co-sleeper Aria will go into, I also sleep with my hand on my babies' bellies for a while, I'm paranoid!

Benedict has been in our bed since we brought him home...it wasnt my intention but when i put him in the bassinet he woke up right away. PLus he was choking some too when he first came home and it scared me..he still does once in awhile. I think I am going to get out the pack n play soon and try that out...but I think around 3 months we will start the transition to the crib , once he can sleep more through the night.
