I've been waiting 4 weeks and 5 days for it, but she has been smiling all day (when shes not fussing LOL). She has had little tiny grins a couple times this week but nothing that was a for sure social smile.

This morning we got up and I went to her room for diaper change, feeding, etc and as I was getting situated in the rocking chair I looked down and she had this ear to ear grin that melted my heart! I started talking to her and she smiled again, then a couple more times this afternoon.

She even made a couple laugh/excited gurgle noises this afternoon, both in anticipation of food

How many of our babies have had their first big smiles?

Brayden has started smiling too..its super cute and he smiles funny, one side usually goes up farther than the other, like it takes him a lot of effort lol! He smiles everytime I do patty cake with him and when I talk to him with my face near him.

Aww yay! Isn't that just the greatest feeling? Cole is just like Blakely, he has been smiling all week, but nothing like the big grins I'm getting today!

The only way I have gotten him to smile and even accidentally laugh is doing patty cake! I do a silly voice and change the wording up. It sounds silly but it's so cute to see him react. My middle child laughed his first time with the same version of patty cake.

Yay for smiles! Grant has been smiling for a few days. He smiles almost every time I pick him up now. The other night, he was up a ton but it made it worth it because he was smiling at me as I rocked him.

Veronica has been doing a bunch of the little grins. We are still waiting for a big one. She has been very fussy until I cut out dairy. She is a lot calmer now so hopefully more smiles.
