I just got Jay his first pacifier today and he seems to like it. It falls out constantly but he's still interested in it when I offer it again. What kinds of pacifiers do you guys use? When did you introduce it to them?

We have a couple of Gumdrop and a couple of Avena ones. Kira seems to like the Gumdrops a little better. I started offering a paci a couple of weeks ago but it's really only been in the last week or so (~7-8 weeks old) that she keeps it in her mouth.

Archer was using one okay when he was first born for a couple of weeks. it fell out a lot though. He then started refusing them and hates the things. It's difficult to soothe him without one now. So I wish he liked them. We had gumdrops and mam. He started preferring mam. I think they stayed in his mouth better because the nipple is bigger and has a shape I feel is easier to keep in their mouths.

JR likes his paci but only at certain times- the car, riding in his Moby, and after he's eaten and ready to fall asleep. The only kind he will take are the Soothies, like from the hospital! I've tried to get him to use other ones (I bought Nuks because that was the kind Allison used) but he won't touch them!

Ember used a gumdrop in the hospital, but now she's spitting out anything we offer to her... she wants her hands/fingers instead.

Kate used a soothie and gumdrop at first, but then I switched to the MAM and liked them better because they stayed in. She still uses them at night.

I've tried them all and he won't take any of them I keep trying though. I think it would help soothe him.

I am on day 2 of Tommee Tippee it stays in for a good while and I think its because its not a straight nipple.
We tried gum drops & playtex binkie and they came out and he would gag.

Cole uses Nuk orthostars. He loves them, but they are hard to find so I'm going to try to see if he will transition to something else.
