Have you taken your baby out for dinner?? How did they do??
We took Jacob out for lunch on father's day and i spent most of the meal nursing him. I told DH that I wish we would have brought him a bottle of pumped milk so I could have enjoyed myself a bit more but atleast he wasn't crying.
Thank you *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy
We go out for dinner all the time. If I feed her before we go out, she usually sleeps in her car seat through the whole dinner. I'll bring a bottle of pumped milk just in case, though I've also just nursed her at the table with a cover.
We eat out a lot too. She's only been fussy once, and I just picked her up and held her until she fell asleep. She didn't cry when I was holding her so that was good. Haven't had to nurse in public yet. I'm trying to get up the nerve, but I haven't needed to.
We've eaten out quite a few times with Grant. He's usually fine if I nurse him before we go, but I have no problem nursing him at the restaurant either. Lily and Vi are more work when we eat out, but for the most part the 3 kids are pretty darn good at restaurants.
We haven't attempted it until this last Friday. He was always crying non stop in pain all day until this last formula change. He did really well. He ate once and stared at the lights and smiled and made noises. He did do an explosive poop though. It smelled so bad! I had to change him and his clothes. That tiny bathroom smelled horrible while we were in there lol.
Thanks PrincessMom08 for my wonderful siggy!
