How does your baby's skin look? Any issues (acne, eczema, ect)? Anything special that you put on it??





Jacob had baby acne for the first few weeks but I changed his body wash to Aveeno and it seems to have cleared up. He did have cradle cap but as of last week that has cleared up also. I bought some special shampoo for the cradle cap with a little brush that helped it look better. Now I just wash him in Aveeno body wash and then put Aveen body lotion on him afterwards.

she had really bad acne rash around 6 weeks, but it has mostly cleared up now.

Kira's baby acne has almost completely cleared up, yay!

She still has some flaky skin between her eyebrows and behind her ears -- the ears are scaly enough that I'm going to mention it to the pediatrician on Wednesday. Hubby is convinced it's nothing to be concerned about (I do make sure to wash behind her ears; at first I thought maybe it was soap scum or dirt, but no).

Cole hasn't had anything!!! (besides his birthmark) I'm surprised because Chase had baby acne and cradle cap.

All Archer had was peeling skin on his forehead and scalp for a bit. That's been gone for a while now.

Hadley's skin is very clear and her head isn't flaky anymore at all. I use a soft brush (the one from the hospital) to wash her hair every night and I put a little bit of olive oil on the dry parts for a few days...then washed it out the next morning. The yuck skin came off and it was perfectly cleared up.

Jax has lots of little white bumps on his nose and a couple on his cheeks. He has lots of flaky skin pretty much everywhere.

Livi had bad acne for about 4 1/2 weeks. It has finally cleared up this week.

Grant's baby acne is cleared up, but he still has cradle cap.

We're still fighting the cradle cap and a heat rash here. He's such a little heater that the heat rash should be around until October/November when the weather finally cools down! My fingers are crossed that we don't develop eczema, Allison has it really bad!

He has baby acne right now.
He is also going bald on the top.

I forgot to add his head is oily. I bathe him every night and his hair is clean and smells great. By the next day it's oily and smells funny. I've tried washing his hair with different brands of shampoo and wash and it's always the same result.

Hey, earlier I used to be very scared of whether I should apply lotions or creams on my daughter's face, Amaira, as her skin is very sensitive ! When she was born I preferred milk over soap, as sometimes soap can be harsh for my daughter's skin, since , recently i have been using Mothercare baby lotion , which I purchased from hushbabies, earlier I was scared of whether to apply or not, but when i applied, her skin was so soft and supple, as it has all the natural extracts, and dermatologically tested, It is definitely worth trying!!

Ember gets a little bit of baby acne around her mouth where she drools milk all the time. She has the little white dots all over her nose. Her skin is mostly done flaking, but there's some spots on her hands that still are flaky. And she has some little red bumps on her legs... I think it might be a heat rash. It doesn't seem to bother her at all.
