I can't stand it. it is no fun at all but it is a necessary evil for a working mother. I so much more enjoy actually nursing my little guy but I want him to have breastmilk while I am at work so I will continue to pump.

I hate it because I don't get much when I pump. I wish I had my pump cleaned this morning when Hadley woke up because she slept 10 hours and I'm sure I could have pumped a good bit...maybe. I was seriously engorged, but I just let her nurse a long time instead.

I admire all of you that BF and build up a stash! Good work!!

I don't work outside the house, but I pump a few times a week for Grant. He eats so much that I can't just nurse and leave the house for a bit, he'll always want to eat while I'm gone.

I don't mind pumping. It's not my fave thing to do, but I can easily get 4oz in under 5 minutes from my manual pump. Since it takes so little time for me, it's not a big deal. When I pump, I usually do it for 10 minutes off one breast. I get enough for 2-3 4oz bottles in that amount of time. I usually put one bottle in the fridge and freeze the rest.

Good gracious! That is a lot of milk!

I hate pumping. I am not looking forward to pumping for work at all! I need to start within the next week. I want to build up at least a small stash and get my body used to the pump. Ick.

It's a pain in the butt, and this time it's not just from getting the pump out, cleaning the parts, etc.... but my toddler loves my pump and messes with all the parts so I have to argue with her while I pump and apparently I need to put it all out of sight/reach when i'm not using it... just today we found her with the tubing and trying to ring the horn like a bell.

I only pump when I go out though. I pumped while she was in the NICU in between nursing sessions and I have a pretty good stash now so I just pump off some when i've been out for a couple hours or when I'm engorged.
